Let's make FRESH SALSA from the Garden!!!

Well, my Salsa Garden is ready to harvest!!! ( See my post and YouTube video from June 12 when I started the Salsa Garden) Let's make some Salsa!!!

Ingredients:

12-14 ripe Roma Tomatoes

6 Red Cayenne Peppers

3 Jalapeno Peppers

1/2 Sweet Bell Pepper

1/2 Red Onion

3 Cloves Garlic

Good size bunch Fresh Cilantro

2 Limes, juiced

2 Tbs. Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Salt and Pepper to taste

This makes a very HOT Salsa. If you don't like it so hot, use only 3 Cayenne Peppers and 1 Jalapeno and remove seeds before chopping.

Chop all the veggies.

Add to a medium size bowl. Make sure that you add the juice of the tomatoes that dripped from the chopping.

Add the rest of the ingredients. Mix well.

You can serve and eat it now, but I recommend that you cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 5 hours or overnight. This will make all the flavors infuse together.

Serve with Tostitos (Hint of Lime flavor) and a nice cold beer, or wine.

Enjoy!
